Participants will review the subject-matter vocabulary and legal terminology used in various types of cases, including automobile liability cases, work-related injury cases, and premises liability cases, and will take part in two practice exercises, one in consecutive mode and one in sight translation mode. A transcript and glossary of terms contained in the practice exercises will be provided.

This webinar is intended mainly for Texas licensed court interpreters and health care interpreters who are seeking to fulfill their JBCC continuing education requirement or CCHI continuing education requirement, but will also be useful for interpreters preparing to take the JBCC licensing exam or the CCHI certification exam
